Send Your Spirit to fill me with the sense of forgiveness
You exhibited from the cross.
Jesus! Do You recognize how often my indifference
has left You out of any accomplishment I may have achieved
- seemingly on my own?
Send Your Spirit to fill me with an abandonment
to Your will.
Jesus! Do You recognize how often my lack of love and concern
has left so many people unfulfilled and neglected?
Please send Your Spirit to fill me with a sense of love and caring
for all Your creatures.
Jesus! Do You see how often my lack of faith and trust
has blamed You for the failures and frustrations in my life?
Send Your Spirit to fill me with a sense of true belief in You.
Jesus! Do You recognize how often my lack of submission
to Your commandments has added to my problems?
Please send Your Spirit to fill me with complete obedience
and a willingness to give You control in my life.
Jesus! Do You see how often my place in eternity
is jeopardized through my faults?
